Visited after being recommended. We fancied a traditional Sunday lunch but hadn’t booked. We were welcomed and seated immediately. The food was excellent, steaming hot and arrived quickly. We could not fault anything. Lovely atmosphere full of friendly regulars. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended. Well done to all the staff.

Went last night for a family dinner. Excellent atmosphere and the waitress was lovely. Had my 2 granddaughters which had toy boxes. The food was the best I've had in years. Outstanding. I had takeaway which they ever provided a plate which I will return. Would highly recommend.

Four of us had a fantastic meal. Two had pie and veg, one had battered fish, and one, chicken melt I think. All portions were very generous, fresh veg, the fish was huge, and was served quickly. Really nice atmosphere, cosy. Dessert of toffee pecan roulade was delicious. Definitely returning.

Really lovely pub with amazing food and staff. Came here to celebrate my husbands birthday this evening and it was amazing. The food was well presented and piping hot. The staff very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our son (age 9) enjoyed his children’s meal. The menus had a variety of choices. The pub itself was well presented and had a warmly feel to it.
